Please, welcome Delia Smith, a famous British cook and TV presenter. In her programmes she taught Britons basic cookery skills. She was awarded the Order of the  British Empire in recognition of her contribution to the British culture and cooking traditions. She also gave her name to the economic effect known as 'Delia Effect' - after her TV programmes British retailers rose prices for the products she used in her latest programme. 



Now it's the right time to enjoy one of Delia's most renowned dishes - ALPINE  EGGS

Top British universities are going to raise tuition fee



Two of Britain's top universities are expected to increase tuition fees to the maximum level allowed by new laws. Both Oxford and Cambridge said that charging  maximum fee for all subjects from 2012 was the only way of maintaining academic excellence.

King's Speech crowned at Oscars






The King's Speech won the best picture award at the Oscars. The film about King George VI's battle to overcome a speech difficulty won a total of four Academy Awards, including best actor for Colin Firth.
